When I needed more deals, I made another 100, 200 or 500 calls, whatever it took. You see work ethic was never my issue; however, all these calls absorbed huge blocks of my time and, unfortunately, took a toll on my health, family and personal life.
I knew if I was to stay in the real estate business, I had to learn the right skills, implement right systems, and surround myself with the right people. I sought out what I felt were the worlds best business leaders in business and real estate (Darren Hardy, John Maxwell, Jay Kinder, Michael Reese, Jeff Quiane, and John Kitchens). I invested heavily and began to be mentored by these leaders. Together, I knew I had the team I needed to achieve my goals and to help other agents achieve their goals as well.
